It's Official- Kristi is going to TAIWAN!!!!!

OK everyone, it is official, Kristi will be going to Taiwan the end of June through the first week of January. She is going over with the International Language Program out of Provo and will be teaching English as a second language to elementary age children. I am excited for her but definitely I am already missing her!

Spring Snow

Once again my spring flowers came out beautiful and the day after the tulips bloomed it snowed on them. Love that Cache Valley weather!

"Overseer"

Tanner took his first painting class winter semester. This is a painting he entered in the art show and it took 5th place. He was pretty excited. He has titled it "Overseer". After today it will hang above his bed.

Mission Papers are IN!

Yes, Taylor's mission papers are in! AAHHHHHHH. I can't believe it. We just got one son home and now we'll be sending out another. They can't officially go in until May 10th but he should have his call the week of graduation. Any guesses where he will go??????

Senior Pictures- Taylor

Yes, in two weeks Taylor will graduate from Sky View High School. Crazy, I'll have three of the six out of high school. Life keeps moving in the fast lane! Taylor and I went to Mack Park in Smithfield last Sunday and took some senior pics for him to put in his announcements. So for you family members, here is a preview!

Tanner is 16!

Tanner turned 16 last Sunday. We love having Tanner in our family because he is so much fun. He was ordained a priest by his father on Sunday and Jake, Taylor and his Grandpa Ivie all got to be in the circle. What a wonderful day.

Spring Soccer - Sam!

What would spring weather be without a little soccer (10 games to be exact and about that many practices) added to the schedule. Samuel still plays for the STRIKERS competitive soccer team and loves it. He plays defender and middie. When someone on the team gets the first header the coach buys them a milkshake. They got their milkshake near the first of the season! Way to go STRIKERS! He is excited for June to come when his team will be playing in the Utah Summer Games in Cedar City!

Daniel and Lacrosse - #87

Daniel has been learning a lot from Tanner. He is a great defender and takes some pretty good hits. He and Tanner both are defenders and use the six foot long poles! Try catching a ball in one of those, it is not as easy as it looks!

Tanner and Lacrosse

Look for #27- That is Tanner also known as "coatboy"! You will have to ask him!

It has been definitely lacrosse season the past six weeks. We have enjoyed watching around 20 games of lacrosse between Daniel and Tanner. We have sat through sun, pouring rain, snow, wind, sleet and slush. What fun. Now that the weather is finally cooperating, the season is almost over! I love it when Tanner can hit somebody on the field instead of at home!

Sand Hollow State Park

This is a picture of what our Kristi does while she patiently waits for her brothers to do a little fishing!!!

Our family had never been to Sand Hollow State Park and so we decided to try some place new. We went to do a little fishing but it wasn't so good. We ended up climbing on the rocks and skipping rocks into the water. The boys made their own skipping rocks by rubbing the sand stone against the harder rock to make them round and smooth. It was a great afternoon!
