Last Day of School Breakfast

On Thursday morning I made breakfast for 17 friends plus Taylor. It was so much fun to have all the kids come over to our home. Just in case you were wondering we made three batches of Grandma's waffles, 72 pieces of bacon, 24 blueberry muffins, 1/2 watermelon, 2 lbs strawberries, 3 bananas, 1 pineapple, 1 1/2 gallon orange juice and 1/2 gallon milk. It was well worth it to see all their smiling faces!

Greenville Mile Race

Samuel qualified for the Greenville Mile race again this year. The three top runners in the class get to participate in the race. He came in first in his class. Today when he ran in the race he came in 6th out of 21 racers. He ran the qualifying race in 7:09 minutes. Way to go Sam!

Salt Lake REAL Game

On Saturday we had the great experience of going to the Salt Lake REAL game. None of us had ever been to a professional soccer game before and it was so much fun! Sam's team, the STRIKERS, got to go down on the field when the REAL players came on the field and during the national anthem. The REAL lost 0-2 to the Kansas City Wizards. So much fun!

The Junior Prom

I just thought you might enjoy Taylor's pictures from the Jr. Prom. He had a great time. This week has been crazy for him-he just finished his third AP Test yesterday (AP Calculus, AP History, AP Chemistry). Way to go Taylor!

Strikers Soccer Season

Samuel has been enjoying his soccer season so far. His team is playing great and they have are 6-1, first place in their division and the season is half over. Sam loves playing soccer and has had a lot of fun on his competitive team.

Baby Birds

We have been watching our three baby birds now for two weeks. The Mamma bird made a nest on our front porch piller. They have been so much fun to watch. It is amazing how fast that they grow. The kids and I have loved watching the Mamma and Daddy bird feed them. Nature is an amazing thing!
