Samuel's Pack Meeting

Sam had a great pack meeting tonight at the church pavilion. They had awards, a retiring of the flag ceremony and then everyone got to make smores. Here are some great pictures of the evening. Samuel got his forester, geologist, and naturalist. Way to go Sam!

Bless the flowers…Bless the bees…Bless the wild flowers…but not the weeds!

My flowers have been so pretty this year with all the rain that I just need to share them with everyone. Hope you enjoy the colors!

Taylor's Emergency Room Visit!

On Thursday Evening Taylor was having a good time with his friends, chasing doorbell ditchers, when he tripped over a rock and landed on another one. He took a big chunck out of his knee and had a big gash below his knee. Jim took him into the emergency room at 10:30 and at 1:00 a.m. and 13 stitches later they came home. He'll have a great scar to show everyone!

The Taylor Family Reunion in Junction, UT

We had a great time in Junction, UT. at the Taylor Family Reunion. We were able to visit with all of Jim's brothers and sisters and IlaRae and Bill as well as all the other 60 extended family. It was a lot of fun and the boys had a good time with their cousins. Aren't families wonderful!

Last Day of School Breakfast

On Thursday morning I made breakfast for 17 friends plus Taylor. It was so much fun to have all the kids come over to our home. Just in case you were wondering we made three batches of Grandma's waffles, 72 pieces of bacon, 24 blueberry muffins, 1/2 watermelon, 2 lbs strawberries, 3 bananas, 1 pineapple, 1 1/2 gallon orange juice and 1/2 gallon milk. It was well worth it to see all their smiling faces!
