Spring in Cache Valley

Last week I was so excited because the snow had all melted in my yard. I even planted pansies on Friday. Well, spring in Cache Valley always surprises us and this week we were blessed with more snow. The best part is it will melt by the weekend! Enjoy the picture I took from my backyard! Isn't it wonderful to look out my back window at this! We live in such a great place. It sure was a pretty snow! The flowers are still trying to pop out. Anyway, enjoy each day, even if it is snowing!!

Lacrosse Season has Begun!

Lacrosse season has begun for Tanner and Daniel. Last Saturday Jim and I and Daniel and Samuel went to the Beetdigger Tournament down in West Jordan area to watch Tanner play. Tanner played four games between Friday and Saturday and had a great time. It was a great day to watch lacrosse! The hightlight for Tanner, however, was getting stuck in the elevator for forty minutes with 13 other teenagers! (Glad I wasn't there!)

Spring has finally come to Cache Valley

OK, Spring really did come this week. I officially have NO snow in my front yard! (The backyard may take a day or two more of good weather.) It was so fun to go out side and find my spring flowers. They were actually there under all those old fall leaves and dirt. The tulips are coming up nice but by tomorrow morning the deer will have eaten them to the ground. Thank heavens for daffodils! I can hardly wait to mow my lawn!

I just finished reading the Books of Bayern series by Shannon Hale. The Goose Girl was by far my favorite, then River Secrets, then Enna Burning. They were all alot of fun to read. I highly recommend them!

Jim and I and the boys took a quick trip to the lake over President's Day. We had a lot of fun playing on the ice. Throwing ice chunks on the smooth ice made the coolest sound. Samuel won at Monopoly. Boy was he excited! The lake is always fun, no matter the season!
